The hotel's location by the water is breathtaking.
We faced numerous issues during our stay at Boathouse Country Inn. The coffee maker in our room didn’t work, and with no staff available after the pub closed, it became tricky for us to get any assistance. The bathroom was cramped with almost no counter space, making it uncomfortable for my tall husband. It really felt like the amenities and overall upkeep were neglected.

The location by the St Lawrence River is simply stunning, making mornings magical. The staff were welcoming, but the room had an uncomfortably strong smell of propane—something they dismissed as normal. Overall, a pleasant experience despite this issue.

We had a fantastic stay enjoying stunning views of the water. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore the charming village of Rockport, and the kids loved the fun boat cruise that highlighted Boldt Castle and other major features of the islands.
For dads, it would be great if the rooms had better climate control.

Cozy room with a wonderful waterfront view that made the evenings memorable. The adjoining pub offered tasty meals, and the general store was a delightful stop for snacks and souvenirs. However, communication about the main building being closed on Sundays was lacking, leading to some inconvenience in finding dinner. It would have been great to enjoy more time and interaction at the hotel instead of feeling isolated.
